Cold and rainy at the moment, I took advantage of my free afternoon today and went hit a few balls at the batting cages... haha! So much fun to bundle up and go scooter-ing around. Thought I would post a few photos of the recent weeks, since I am a slacker and haven't been keeping up with the blogging...

Rare Taiwan "old-growth". Pretty big, but nothing if you've been to our N. Cali redwood groves!
The route wee took. Signs here are semi-bilingual a lot of the time, but the English is usually pretty weird...
Treated to a delicious vegetarian dinner as a reward for a long days' hike! We are all so full in this picture. Is my jacket sticking out, or is my stomach really that big? You decide... ;)

Couldn't read the english section of the map. It would be fun to see their translations. How about some photos of funny english translations around Taichung.
